MUSCULOSKELETAL SYSTEM

The musculoskeletal system is an organ system that provides the ability to move using the muscular and skeletal systems.  It is made up of the body’s bones, muscles, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, joints, and other connective tissues that support and bind the tissues and organs together.

There are diseases and disorders that may adversely affect the function and effectiveness of the musculoskeletal system.  These conditions can be difficult to diagnose due to the close relationship of the musculoskeletal system to other internal systems.

So chiropractic deals with the bones of the spine (that houses the nervous system that controls the body) and the musculoskeletal system (that is closely tied to every part of the body).
