So chiropractic doctors are spine-only doctors, right?”

That is INCORRECT.  In Texas, chiropractic deals with “the structure and function of the human spine.”  While some will take this as literally to mean ONLY the mechanical aspects of the spine, they forget that HISTORICALLY and by definition chiropractic ALSO deals with the nervous system--a PART OF THE SPINE.

Therefore, in dealing with the “structure and function of the human spine” generally, chiropractors also deal the nervous system of the human and “the primary function of the nervous system is to control the body.”

Therefore chiropractic may directly, or indirectly, have some effect upon the regulatory system of the body.  Chiropractic certainly deals with the effect of the various conditions of the body upon the regulatory system and the spine.

Chiropractic is a “whole body” approach focusing upon the spine and the effects of “whole body” conditions upon the spine, muscles, bones, and joints of the body.
